¡Hola a todos!
La semana pasada estuve inmersa en un curso del que os hablaré la semana que viene; Happiness Program, ha sido muy interesante y estoy deseando contároslo todo. Además, ha venido a verme mi amiga N.V. desde Madrid y la verdad es que le estoy dedicando poquito tiempo a la escritura. Son las 5am me he desvelado y me ha apetecido, por fin, escribir.
El post de hoy tiene algo menos de “mi” pero me apetecía mucho publicarlo. He aquí un resumen de las series de Netflix que he visto este último año.
Nunca he sido muy fanática de ir al cine, aunque sí me gusta ver películas. No me encantan las palomitas, tampoco que me regulen la temperatura del aire acondicionado, siempre tengo o mucho frío o calor. Además me encanta devorar series en casa, tranquilamente. Evadirme de mi realidad y entrar en la vida de los personajes de ficción me ha ayudado muchísimo. Aprovecho para verlas en inglés, así no sólo practico, sino que es incluso más fácil alejarme de mí día a día.
Aunque en Playa no hace frío, pienso en Madrid y creo que esta lista os ayudará a incluir una buena serie a vuestro plan de sofá y manta preferido para los fines de semana de lluvia.

NARCOS: ¡Un 10! Tanto la serie como la campaña que ha hecho Netflix. Acabo de empezar Narcos – México. Reconozco que echo de menos al Agente Peña. T.2
THE AFFAIR: Como su propio nombre indica… todo empieza con el romance de una pareja fuera de sus respectivos matrimonios. Trata de una forma magistral la evolución y los puntos de vista de todos los personajes involucrados. Justo hoy acabo de terminar su último capítulo de la cuarta temporada. T.3. (fin)
LOVE: Una comedia entretenidísima, tiene puntazos increíbles. Habla de temas súper reales de una manera muy cercana y divertida. T.3. (fin)
THE SINNER: He terminado hace algunas semanas la segunda temporada y, aunque el papel de Jessica Biel, además productora de la serie, ¡es espectacular! Han conseguido que nos olvidemos de ella sin problema en la segunda temporada. T.2 (todavía no se sabe si habrá o no una tercera temporada)
BATES MOTEL: Trata sobre la relación muy tóxica entre una madre y su hijo. Aunque es difícil asociar el argumento con la realidad, creo que si sabemos hacer una lectura productiva de la misma, nos damos cuenta de cómo afecta la forma en la que educamos y tratamos a nuestros hijos en su futuro. Intriga, suspense y por supuesto, un poquito de amor. T.5. (fin)
LUIS MIGUEL: Vi hace bastante tres capítulos y no me enganchó nada, pensé… “qué pereza esta telenovela, Luis Miguel…” Vale, pues ahora estoy deseando que salga la tercera temporada. Descargué la serie completa en Madrid antes de venirme a México y me la acabé en las diez horas de avión. De hecho… ¡pienso ir al próximo concierto! T.1. (nueva temporada abril 2019)
THE CROWN: Nunca fui buena estudiante en el cole, me da mucha pena porque sé lo justo de la historia mundial. Por eso, me gusta muchísimo ver series históricas y si encima está tan bien hecha como ésta ¡Mucho mejor! T.2. (próxima temporada durante 2019 aunque todavía no se ha confirmado fecha)
ELITE: Serie española bastante entretenida. T.1. (han confirmado que habrá segunda temporada, pero no cuándo se estrenará. Lo más probable, finales 2019)
BLOODLINE: Una serie de suspense bastante buena. Es verdad que la tercera temporada me enganchó menos, pero me apetecía terminarla. T.3. (fin)
THE GOOD WIFE: Permitidme la comparación. La temática es bastante parecida a la de Suits, pero para mi gusto lo hace de una forma más dinámica. Le dan más protagonismo a las relaciones personales y no tanto a los casos. La evolución del personaje de la protagonista es genial. Además su marido es el famoso Mr. Big de Sex and the City. T.3. SENSE 8: Una ida de olla absoluta que recomiendo. Miguel Ángel Silvestre está genial en su papel de homosexual. Trata sobre ocho personas cuyas mentes están relacionadas entre sí porque pertenecen a una especie de ser humano evolucionado. T.2. (fin)
OZARK: ¡Muy buena! Un padre de familia bastante corriente, en apariencia, se dedica a blanquear dinero del cártel. Trata el tema de una forma muy entretenida. T.2. (han confirmado que habrá tercera temporada, pero no cuándo se estrenará).
LA CASA DE PAPEL: Siempre he sido muy fan del cine Español y esta serie es una obra maestra y me encanta que la hayan lanzado con tanto éxito en el extranjero. T.2. (la tercera temporada se estrenará en 2019)
13 REASONS WHY: ¡Me encantó! Una serie muy rápida. Trata un tema súper actual de una forma para mi gusto impecable. T.2. (fin)
MANHUNT UNABOMBER: Buenísima!!! Basada en una historia real a cerca de cómo un agente del FBI captura a un terrorista aplicando unos métodos en los que nadie confiaba. T.1. (fin)
SUITS: In love total con Harvey Specter. Las primeras temporadas son muy buenas pero la última la verdad es que no me ha encantado. Me ha divertido mucho ver como Meghan Marke, después de su compromiso con el Príncipe Harry, va perdiendo protagonismo. T.8. (no está confirmada la novena temporada)
THE END OF THE F***G WORLD: Es una locura bastante entretenida. T.1. (fin)
STRANGER THINGS: ¡Increíble! Soy cero fan de las series y películas de ciencia ficción, pero esta me ha chiflado. Sólo quiero que estrenen nueva temporada. T.2. (tercera temporada en verano de 2019)
GAME OF THRONES: Esta no la he visto durante este último año. Reconozco que me costó mucho empezarla, me dijeron… "si después de tres capítulos no te gusta, la dejamos". Me enganchó tanto que la devoramos. Soy mega fan de Jhon Snow y Daenerys Targaryen, quién además, es la protagonista de una película buenísima que os recomiendo: Me before You. T.7. (nueva y última tamporada en abril de 2019)
CALIFORNICATION: Creo que es una serie mucho más de tíos, es un poco demasiado explícita pero, es entretenida de ver. Trata sobre el desastre de vida de un cuarentón guapísimo. T.7. (fin)

"Seires monster"
Y éstas que os dejo más abajo están bien para pasar el rato pero, o las he dejado a la mitad o, no me parecen ninguna obra maestra:
HOUSE OF CARDS: Lo que más me gustó de la serie es el papelón que hace Robin Wright, además directora de la misma. Para los que no la tengáis localizada, es la protagonista de La Princesa Prometida y, la famosísima Jane de Forest Gump. Las primeras temporadas son muy buenas, la dejé de ver porque se vuelven demasiado malos todos.
REVENGE: Una serie de gossip y suspense. Creo que no es ninguna obra maestra pero me enganchó bastante. T.4. (fin)
BREAKING BAD: Las dos primeras emporadas me engancharon bastante, pero creo que tiene mucha más fama de lo que la serie es en realidad. T.5. (fin)
VIKINGOS: Wow! Ragnar Lothbrok, su papel y sus ojos. Dejé de verla a mitad de la cuarta temporada cuando él deja de cobrar protagonismo e intentan seguir la trama como si nada.
HOMELAND: Me la habían recomendado infinitas veces y, aunque me costó empezarla la verdad es que me alegro de haberla visto. Claire Danes está espectacular, pero reconozco que en las últimas temporadas se les va un poco de las manos. T.7. (fin)

Hi again,
Last week I was immersed in a course that I will talk about next week as it recquires a lot of thinking...; Happiness Program, it has been very interesting and I am really looking forward to telling you about it. Moreover I have my good friend N.V. visiting from Madrid and I'm dedicating little time to writting.
Today's post has something less about "me" but I really wanted to post it.
Here is a summary of the Netflix series I've seen this past year. I have never been very fond of going to the movies, although I do like watching movies at home. I do not love popcorn, nor that they regulate the temperature of the air conditioning, I'm either too cold or warm. I also love to devour series at home, quietly. It helps me to evade from my reality. Entering the life of the fictional characters has helped me a lot. I also see them in English, so I don't only practice the language, but I find it even easier to get away from my day to day.
Although it's not cold in Playa, I think of Madrid and I'm sure this list will help you include a good series to your favorite sofa and blanket plan for rainy weekends.
Here goes my list, it is not by preference ranking:
NARCOS: I loved it! Both the series and the campaign that Netflix has made. I just started Narcos - Mexico. S.2
THE AFFAIR: As its name suggests ... it all starts with the romance of a couple outside of their respective marriages. It treats in a masterly way the evolution and the points of view of all the characters involved. S.3. (the end)
LOVE: A very entertaining comedy, it has really funny scenes as they talk about super real topics in a very close and fun way. S.3. (the end)
THE SINNER: I loved the character of Jessica Biel in season 1 whom is also producer of the series. Although she's not in season 2 they managed to forget about her with no problem in season 2. S.2 (not sure if there will be a season 3)
BATES MOTEL: It's about a very toxic relationship between a mother and her son. Although it is difficult to associate the argument with reality, I think that if we do a productive reading of it, we realize how the way we educate and treat our children affect in their future. Intrigue, suspense and of course, a little of love. S.5. (the end)
LUIS MIGUEL: I saw three chapters long time ago when everyone started posting about the series on Instagram but I was not really amazed about them so I left it. Ok, now I'm so looking forward to the third season... I downloaded the full series in Madrid before I took the plane to Mexico and I finished it in the ten hours of flight. S.1. (new season April 2019)
THE CROWN: I was never a good student at school and because of that, I feel very sorry about it because I know very little of world history. For that reason, I love seeing and reading historical series! The Crown is incredibly well produced. S.2. (next season during 2019 although date has not yet been confirmed)
ELITE: A quite interesting Spanish series, an unresolved crime and a lot of love. S.1. (they have confirmed that there will be a second season, but not when will it be released, most likely, somtime at the end of 2019)
BLOODLINE: A pretty good series of suspense. First and second season were great!!! Thrid in my opinion is not so good as the previous ones. S.3. (the end)
THE GOOD WIFE: The theme is quite similar to Suits, but I thing that they treat law cases in a more dynamic way. They give more prominence to personal relationships which makes the series more interesting for me... The evolution of the main character is great. In addition, her husband is the famous Mr. Big of Sex and the City. S.3. (the end)
SENSE 8: It's an absolute crazy theme but Miguel Ángel Silvestre is great on his homosexual interpretation. Eight minds which are connected because they belong to an evolved human being. S.2. (the end)
OZARK: A fairly ordinary family man, apparently, is engaged in laundering money from the cartel. They treat the theme in a very entertaining way. S.2. (They have confirmed that there will be a third season, but not when it will be released).
MONEY HEIST: I've always been a big fan of Spanish cinema and this series is a masterpiece. i'm so proud that it has being released in so many foreign countries. S.2. (third season will be launched in 2019)
13 REASONS WHY: I loved it! A very fast series. They treat a super dayly theme in a way I consider incredibly well done. S.2. (the end)
MANHUNT UNABOMBER: Very very good! It's based on a true story about how an FBI agent captures a terrorist using some methods no one trusted in. S.1. (the end)
SUITS: I'm crazy in love total with Harvey Specter. First seasons are very good but I must admit that I haven't loved the last one. I loved seing how Meghan Markle stops being such a main character after her engagement with Prince Harry. S.8. (The ninth season is not confirmed)
THE END OF THE F *** G WORLD: Hahaha an absoult madness series. S.1. (the end)
STRANGER THINGS: Incredible! I am not fan at all of science fiction movies but I've loved this one. I just want the release of new seasons. S.2. (third season summer 2019)
GAME OF THRONES: I admit that I had a hard time starting it, "if after three episodes you don't like it, we leave it". Well I enjoyed it so much that I think I finished the released seasons like in a month. I'm a huge fan of Jhon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, whom is also the main character in a really good film: Me before You. S.7. (new and last season in April 2019)
CALIFORNICATION: Althogh I think it's more a guy series as it's a bit too explicit, it's entertaining to watch. It's about the disaster life disaster of a hottie 40-year-old men. S.7. (the end)

And these ones are the ones I have not finished or I don't consider them master pieces.
HOUSE OF CARDS: What I liked the most about it is Robin Wright's part whom is also director of the series. She's well known for the film - The Princess Bride - and Jane it - Forest Gump - movie. I stopped seeing the series when caracters start being too mean.
REVENGE: Gossip and suspense. I think it's not a masterpiece but I liked it. S.4. (the end)
BREAKING BAD: The first two energies hooked me a lot, but I think it has a lot more fame than what the series really is. S.5. (the end)
VIKINGS: Wow to Ragnar Lothbrok, his character and his eyes. I stopped seeing it in the middle of the fourth season when he stops being the main character.
HOMELAND: Friends had recommended it many times and I was a bit sceptical about the theme, the truth is that I'm glad I saw it. Claire Danes is spectacular, but I must admit that the last seasons are a little bit too much. S.7. (the end)
